Virginia Social Ventures (VSV) is a new nonprofit organization designed to use social entrepreneurship and supportive services to help people with significant employment barriers succeed in the world of work. The purpose of VSV is to develop and manage social purpose enterprises that train and employ homeless and very low income individuals while generating earned income to support the organization’s mission. VSV’s first enterprise is Spotlight Books.
